Building Description:
Introducing a single skin building that fulfills your specifications. This building features a roller door and a secure personnel access (PA) door, providing convenient entry points.
Dimensions:
The building has dimensions of 7m x 8m x 2.8m to the eaves, offering a compact yet functional space. The roof has a 10-degree pitch, allowing for efficient water drainage and providing an appealing architectural design.
Doors:
Included in the building is a manually operated roller door measuring 3000mm x 2400mm. This roller door allows easy access for vehicles and equipment. Additionally, a 12-point locking secure personnel access door ensures controlled entry for authorized personnel.
Wall Detail:
The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, providing durability and strength. The wall cladding consists of a single skin design and is coated with Plastisol, a protective layer of plastisol-coated steel sheeting. This coating enhances the building’s resistance to external elements, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Roof Detail:
The roof features 30mm box profile roof cladding, also designed as a single skin. The roof cladding is coated with Plastisol, providing durability and protection against environmental factors. An anti-condensation barrier is incorporated into the roof design to prevent condensation buildup and maintain a comfortable interior environment. Skylights are included to allow natural light into the building, reducing the need for artificial lighting.
Rain Water:
To efficiently manage rainwater, the building includes guttering and downpipes made of galvanized steel. These components are hot dipped in a Plastisol coating, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers:
The building package includes all necessary components for the base, eaves, and ridge fillers. These elements contribute to a well-sealed and secure structure.
Fixings:
All required fixings for the construction process are provided with the building package. This includes colored cap-less finishing screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets. These fixings facilitate an efficient and streamlined assembly.
Framing:
The building’s framework is constructed from cold-rolled Cee-section columns and rafters. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, providing structural stability and integrity. The framework is made from hot-dipped galvanized steel, meeting the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The sections are designed according to BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, incorporating rational analysis and component testing to ensure optimal performance and durability.
