Building Description:

We are pleased to present a single skin building with a roller door, a personnel access door, and windows, designed to meet your specifications.

Dimensions:

The building measures 12.91m x 16.86m x 4.7m to the eaves, providing a spacious interior for your intended use. The roof is designed with a 10-degree pitch, facilitating efficient water drainage. Skylights are incorporated into the roof to allow natural light into the building.

Doors:

The building features a manually operated Heavy Duty Class 5 roller door, measuring 3500mm x 4200mm. This durable and robust roller door allows for convenient access to accommodate large vehicles or equipment. Additionally, a 12-point locking security personnel access door is included to provide controlled entry and exit points for personnel.

Windows:

To enhance natural lighting and aesthetics, the building includes four clear glass windows. These windows measure standard dimensions of your choice (please provide the dimensions), and their frames and flashings are included in the package. The windows are made of high-quality clear glass and are securely installed to maintain the integrity of the building.

Wall Detail:

The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, employing a single skin design. The cladding consists of Plastisol coated steel sheeting, providing durability and protection against external elements. This robust wall cladding ensures the integrity of the building while maintaining a functional and weather-resistant structure.

Roof Detail:

The roof is constructed using 30mm box profile roof cladding, also employing a single skin design. The roof cladding is coated with Plastisol, which offers excellent resistance to corrosion and weathering. An anti-condensation barrier is integrated into the roof design, minimizing condensation buildup and creating a comfortable interior environment. Skylights are strategically placed to introduce natural light, reducing the reliance on artificial lighting during the daytime.

Rainwater Management:

Efficient rainwater management is achieved through the inclusion of galvanized steel guttering and downpipes. These components are hot dipped in Plastisol coating, providing excellent durability and resistance to corrosion. Proper rainwater management is essential for preserving the structural integrity of the building and preventing water-related issues.

Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers:

All necessary base, eaves, and ridge fillers are included to ensure proper sealing and insulation. These fillers contribute to creating a well-sealed and weatherproof structure, minimizing the risk of leaks or drafts.

Fixings:

The building package includes all the necessary screws, colored cap-less finishing screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets required for the construction process. These fixings ensure secure connections and facilitate the smooth assembly of the building.

Framing:

The building’s framework is made from cold rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, providing stability and structural support. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further reinforcing the framework. All framework components are hot-dipped galvanized steel, meeting the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The framework is designed in accordance with BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, employing a combination of rational analysis and component testing to ensure structural integrity and reliability.
