Building Description:

Dimensions:

Skylights are incorporated into the roof design, allowing natural light to illuminate the interior and reduce the need for artificial lighting.

Doors:

The building includes two manually operated heavy-duty Class 5 roller doors, each measuring 2500mm x 2100mm. These roller doors are designed to withstand demanding conditions and provide reliable access for vehicles, equipment, or goods. Additionally, a secure personnel access door with a 12-point locking system is included to ensure controlled entry and enhanced security.

Wall Detail:

The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, consisting of a single skin of Plastisol coated steel sheeting. This cladding offers durability and protection against external elements, providing a robust barrier for your belongings.

Roof Detail:

The roof is designed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, also featuring a single skin construction. The roof cladding is coated with Plastisol, which provides resistance to corrosion and weathering. An anti-condensation barrier is integrated into the roof design to minimize condensation buildup, promoting a dry and comfortable interior environment.

Rainwater Management:

Efficient rainwater management is ensured by the inclusion of guttering and downpipes made from galvanized steel. These components are hot dipped in Plastisol coating, offering durability and protection against corrosion. Proper rainwater management helps to preserve the integrity of the building and prevent water-related issues.

Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers:

To ensure proper sealing and insulation, all necessary components for the base, eaves, and ridge fillers are included with the building package. These fillers help create a well-sealed and weatherproof structure, minimizing the risk of leaks or drafts.

Fixings:

The building package includes all necessary screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets required for the construction process. These fixings are provided to facilitate the smooth and efficient assembly of the building components.

Framing:

The building’s framework is constructed from cold-rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, ensuring structural strength and stability. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further enhancing the structural integrity of the building. All framework components are made from hot-dipped galvanized steel, complying with the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The sections are designed in accordance with BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, employing a combination of rational analysis and component testing to ensure optimal performance and durability.
