Building Description:
We are pleased to present a single skin building that meets your requirements. This building offers a practical and functional space for various purposes.
Dimensions:
The building has dimensions of 9m x 10m x 3.6m to the eaves, providing ample interior space. The roof features a 10-degree pitch, allowing for efficient water drainage and ensuring sufficient height clearance within the structure.
Doors:
The building is equipped with a chain-operated roller door measuring 3000mm x 3000mm. This roller door offers convenient access for vehicles and large equipment. Additionally, a secure personnel access door with a 12-point locking mechanism is included, ensuring controlled entry and exit for authorized individuals.
Wall Detail:
The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, providing strength and durability. The wall cladding is a single skin design made from Plastisol coated steel sheeting. This coating enhances the wall’s resistance to weathering and provides protection against external elements, ensuring the longevity of the building.
Roof Detail:
The roof is designed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, also featuring a single skin construction. The roof cladding is made from Plastisol coated steel sheeting, offering excellent durability and weather resistance. It includes an anti-condensation barrier to prevent condensation buildup and skylights, allowing natural light to enter the building and reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
Rainwater Management:
To effectively manage rainwater, the building includes guttering and downpipes made of galvanized steel. These components are hot-dipped in a Plastisol coating, providing superior protection against corrosion. The guttering and downpipes efficiently channel rainwater away from the building, preventing water-related issues.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers:
All necessary base, eaves, and ridge fillers are included in the building package. These fillers ensure proper sealing and insulation, minimizing the risk of leaks or drafts and providing a well-sealed structure.
Fixings:
The building package includes all the necessary screws, colored cap-less finishing screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets required for the construction process. These fixings are supplied to facilitate the smooth assembly of the building and ensure secure connections.
Framing:
The building’s framework is constructed from cold rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, providing strength and stability. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further reinforcing the framework. All framework components are hot-dipped galvanized steel, complying with the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The sections are designed according to BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, using a combination of rational analysis and component testing to ensure structural integrity and reliability.
