Dimensions: The building measures 7m x 25m x 3.6m to the eaves, offering a spacious interior with a comfortable height. The 10-degree pitch roof not only adds aesthetic appeal but also facilitates effective water drainage.
Doors: The building features one 3000mm x 3000mm chain-operated roller door, providing convenient access for vehicles or large equipment. Additionally, two secure personnel access (PA) doors with a 12-point locking system are included, ensuring controlled entry and enhancing security. These doors provide easy access for individuals.
Windows: To allow natural light into the interior and create a pleasant environment, the building includes three clear glass windows. Each window measures 2000mm x 1000mm and is made of white uPVC. The windows are accompanied by framing and flashings, providing a clean and finished appearance.
Wall Detail: The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, featuring a single-skin design. The wall cladding consists of plastisol-coated steel sheeting, offering durability and protection against external elements. The plastisol coating enhances weather resistance and reduces the need for maintenance.
Roof Detail: The roof is designed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, utilizing a single-skin construction. The roof cladding also consists of plastisol-coated steel sheeting, providing excellent weather resistance and durability. The 10-degree pitch facilitates effective water runoff, while the integrated anti-condensation barrier helps prevent condensation buildup within the building. Skylights are incorporated into the roof design, allowing natural light to illuminate the interior during the day.
Rainwater Management: Guttering and downpipes made from galvanized steel, hot-dipped in a Plastisol coating, are included. These components effectively manage rainwater by collecting it and channeling it away from the building. The guttering and downpipes provide reliable rainwater management, protecting the structure from potential water-related issues.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers: The building package includes all necessary base, eaves, and ridge fillers. These fillers ensure proper sealing and insulation, minimizing drafts, leaks, and other weather-related concerns. They contribute to maintaining a comfortable and well-protected interior environment.
Fixings: All necessary fixings are included in the building package. This includes colored cap-less finishing screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets required for erecting the building. These fixings facilitate a secure and efficient construction process.
Framing: The building’s framework is constructed using cold-rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, providing sturdy support and structural stability. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further enhancing the framework’s structural integrity. All framework components are made of hot-dipped galvanized steel, complying with the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The sections are designed according to the guidelines outlined in BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, incorporating rational analysis and component testing to ensure structural reliability and compliance.
