Building Description:

Experience the versatility and functionality of this single skin building, meticulously designed to meet your storage needs. Featuring three roller doors and a secure personnel access door, this spacious structure offers easy accessibility and secure entry. With dimensions of 12m x 20m x 5.1m to the eaves, and a 10-degree pitched roof, it provides ample space for various applications.

Doors:

The building is equipped with two heavy-duty chain-operated roller doors, measuring 4000mm x 4200mm and 4000mm x 3600mm respectively. These doors are built to withstand demanding conditions, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. Additionally, a secure personnel access door with a 12-point locking mechanism offers controlled entry for authorized personnel.

Wall Detail:

The walls feature 24mm box profile wall cladding, providing a robust single skin construction. The steel sheeting is coated with Plastisol, offering enhanced durability and protection. This coating not only adds visual appeal to the building but also safeguards it from external elements.

Roof Detail:

The roof is designed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, forming a resilient single skin structure. Its 10-degree pitch facilitates efficient water drainage, while the inclusion of an anti-condensation barrier helps manage moisture buildup. Skylights are integrated into the roof, allowing natural light to permeate the interior space and reducing the need for artificial lighting.

Rain Water:

Efficient rainwater management is ensured with galvanized steel guttering and downpipes, hot-dipped in Plastisol coating. These components effectively collect and channel rainwater away from the building, protecting its foundation and minimizing water-related issues.

Fixings:

To simplify the assembly process, all necessary fixings are provided. This includes colored cap-less finishing screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets. These high-quality fixings ensure a secure and sturdy structure, streamlining the construction process.

Framing:

The building's framework is expertly crafted from cold rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, offering strength and stability. Top-hat sections are utilized as purlins, further enhancing structural integrity. All framework components are hot-dipped galvanized steel, adhering to the BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275 standard. The sections are designed in compliance with the requirements of BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, incorporating rational analysis and component testing to ensure optimal performance.
