Building Description:
We are pleased to provide you with the details of the single skin building that meets your requirements:
Dimensions: The building has dimensions of 12m x 12m x 5m to the eaves, offering a spacious interior with ample height for various applications. The 10-degree pitch roof adds an aesthetic touch to the structure.
Doors: The building features 1x 4000mm x 4000mm chain-operated heavy-duty Class 5 roller door, providing a wide opening for convenient access to accommodate vehicles, equipment, or storage. Additionally, there is a 12-point locking secure personnel access door, ensuring controlled entry and enhancing security measures.
Wall Detail: The walls are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, employing a single skin design. The cladding consists of plastisol-coated steel sheeting, which provides durability and protection against external elements. The plastisol coating ensures weather resistance and minimizes the need for regular maintenance.
Roof Detail: The roof is constructed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, also utilizing a single skin design. Like the wall cladding, the roof cladding is made of plastisol-coated steel sheeting. The 10-degree pitch facilitates efficient water runoff, while the anti-condensation barrier helps prevent condensation build-up within the building. Skylights are incorporated into the roof design, allowing natural light to illuminate the interior during the day.
Rainwater Management: To effectively manage rainwater, the building includes guttering and downpipes made of galvanized steel. These components are hot-dipped in a Plastisol coating, providing increased durability and resistance to corrosion. The guttering and downpipes collect rainwater and direct it away from the building, ensuring proper drainage and safeguarding the structure.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers: The building package includes all necessary base, eaves, and ridge fillers. These fillers play a crucial role in sealing and insulating the building, reducing drafts and potential weather-related issues. They contribute to maintaining a comfortable and well-protected interior environment.
Fixings: All the essential fixings required to erect the building are supplied, including colored cap-less finishing screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets. These fixings are necessary for a secure and efficient construction process.
Framing: The building’s framework consists of cold-rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, ensuring robust support and structural stability. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further enhancing the framework’s strength. All framework components are made of hot-dipped galvanized steel, complying with the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The sections are designed in accordance with the guidelines outlined in BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, guaranteeing structural reliability and compliance through a combination of rational analysis and component testing.
