Building Description:
We are delighted to present a single skin building that meets your specifications. This building offers a practical and versatile space for various applications.
Dimensions: The building measures 8m x 14m x 3.4m to the eaves, providing a spacious interior while maintaining a compact footprint. The 10-degree pitch roof ensures effective water drainage and provides sufficient overhead clearance.
Doors: The building features three manually operated roller doors, each measuring 3000mm x 2700mm. These roller doors allow for easy access and can accommodate vehicles, equipment, or other items with ease. Additionally, a personnel access door equipped with a 12-point locking system is included, ensuring secure entry and exit for individuals.
Wall Detail: The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, which consists of single-skin, plastisol-coated steel sheeting. This cladding provides durability and protection against external elements. The plastisol coating enhances the wall's resistance to weathering, ensuring long-term performance and reducing maintenance needs.
Roof Detail: The roof is designed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, also utilizing a single skin construction. The roof cladding consists of plastisol-coated steel sheeting, offering excellent weather resistance and durability. The 10-degree pitch facilitates effective water runoff, while the integrated anti-condensation barrier helps prevent condensation buildup within the building. Skylights are incorporated into the roof design to allow natural light to enter the interior, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
Rainwater Management: To efficiently manage rainwater, the building is equipped with guttering and downpipes made from galvanized steel. These components are hot-dipped in a plastisol coating, ensuring corrosion resistance and durability. The guttering and downpipes collect rainwater and channel it away from the building, minimizing water-related issues and protecting the structure.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers: All necessary base, eaves, and ridge fillers are included with the building package. These fillers ensure proper sealing and insulation, preventing leaks, drafts, and other weather-related concerns. They contribute to maintaining a comfortable and well-protected interior environment.
Fixings: The building package includes all necessary fixings, such as colored cap-less finishing screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets required for the assembly of the building. These fixings facilitate a secure and efficient construction process.
Framing: The building's framework is constructed from cold-rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, providing sturdy support and structural stability. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further enhancing the structural integrity of the framework. All framework components are hot-dipped galvanized steel, complying with the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The framework design follows the guidelines outlined in BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, incorporating a combination of rational analysis and component testing to ensure structural reliability and compliance.
