Building Description:
We are pleased to present a single skin building that meets your specifications. This building offers a compact and functional space for various applications.
Dimensions:
The building has dimensions of 5m x 10m x 3.6m to the eaves, providing a well-proportioned interior space. The 10-degree pitch roof ensures effective water drainage and optimal overhead clearance.
Doors:
The building features two chain-operated roller doors, each measuring 3000mm x 3000mm. These roller doors are designed for smooth and efficient operation, allowing convenient access for vehicles and equipment. Additionally, a personnel access door equipped with a 12-point locking system is included, ensuring secure entry and exit.
Wall Detail:
The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, providing strength and protection. The cladding consists of a single skin made from Plastisol coated steel sheeting. This coating enhances the wall's resistance to weathering and external elements, ensuring durability and longevity.
Roof Detail:
The roof is designed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, also utilizing a single skin construction. The roof cladding is made from Plastisol coated steel sheeting, offering excellent resistance to weather conditions. The roof incorporates a 10-degree pitch, allowing for effective water runoff. An anti-condensation barrier is included to prevent condensation buildup within the building. Skylights are integrated into the roof design, allowing natural light to enter the interior and reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
Rainwater Management:
To effectively manage rainwater, the building includes guttering and downpipes made from galvanized steel. These components are hot-dipped in a Plastisol coating, providing superior corrosion resistance. The guttering and downpipes collect and channel rainwater away from the building, reducing water-related issues and protecting the structure.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers:
The building package includes all necessary base, eaves, and ridge fillers. These fillers ensure proper sealing and insulation, preventing leaks, drafts, and other weather-related concerns. They contribute to a well-sealed and thermally efficient building.
Fixings:
All essential fixings, including screws (coloured cap-less finishing screws), bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets required for the construction of the building, are supplied. These fixings facilitate a smooth assembly process and ensure secure connections between components.
Framing:
The building's framework is constructed from cold-rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, providing sturdy support and stability. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further reinforcing the framework. All framing components are hot-dipped galvanized steel, adhering to the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The framework design complies with BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, which combines rational analysis and component testing to ensure structural integrity and reliability.
