Building Description:
We are pleased to present a single skin building that meets your requirements. This building is designed to provide a functional and durable space for your needs.
Dimensions: The building measures 12m x 6m x 4.6m to the eaves, providing ample interior space with a comfortable height. The 10-degree pitch roof adds both aesthetic appeal and effective water drainage.
Doors: To accommodate easy access and versatility, the building features three chain-operated heavy-duty Class 5 roller doors. Each roller door measures 3000mm x 4000mm, allowing ample space for vehicle or equipment entry and exit. Additionally, a secure personnel access door with a 12-point locking system is included to ensure controlled entry and enhanced security.
Wall Detail: The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, which consists of single-skin, plastisol-coated steel sheeting. This wall cladding offers durability and protection against external elements. The plastisol coating enhances the wall's resistance to weathering, ensuring long-term performance and reducing maintenance requirements.
Roof Detail: The roof is designed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, also utilizing a single skin construction. The roof cladding consists of plastisol-coated steel sheeting, which provides excellent weather resistance and durability. The 10-degree pitch facilitates efficient water runoff, while the integrated anti-condensation barrier helps prevent condensation buildup within the building. Skylights are incorporated into the roof design to allow natural light to penetrate the interior, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
Rainwater Management: Guttering and downpipes made from galvanized steel are included to effectively manage rainwater. These components are hot-dipped in a Plastisol coating, ensuring corrosion resistance and longevity. The guttering and downpipes collect rainwater and channel it away from the building, minimizing water-related issues and protecting the structure.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers: All necessary base, eaves, and ridge fillers are included with the building package. These fillers ensure proper sealing and insulation, preventing leaks, drafts, and other weather-related concerns. They contribute to maintaining a comfortable and well-protected interior environment.
Fixings: The building package includes all necessary fixings, such as colored cap-less finishing screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets required for erecting the building. These fixings facilitate a secure and efficient construction process.
Framing: The building's framework is constructed using cold-rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, providing robust support and structural stability. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further enhancing the framework's structural integrity. All framework components are hot-dipped galvanized steel, complying with the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The sections are designed according to the guidelines outlined in BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, utilizing a combination of rational analysis and component testing to ensure structural reliability and compliance.
