Building Description:
We are delighted to present a single skin building that fulfills your requirements. This building is designed to provide a functional and durable space for your needs.
Dimensions: The building measures 6m x 15m x 3.6m to the eaves, offering a spacious interior with a comfortable height. The 10-degree pitch roof design not only adds an aesthetic touch but also facilitates effective water drainage.
Doors: To accommodate easy access and functionality, the building features two chain-operated roller doors, each measuring 3000mm x 3000mm. These roller doors allow convenient entry and exit for vehicles or equipment. Additionally, a secure personnel access door with a 12-point locking system is included, ensuring controlled entry and enhanced security.
Wall Detail: The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, consisting of single-skin, plastisol-coated steel sheeting. This wall cladding provides robustness and protection against external elements. The plastisol coating enhances the wall's resistance to weathering, ensuring long-term performance and reducing maintenance requirements.
Roof Detail: The roof is designed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, also utilizing a single skin construction. The roof cladding consists of plastisol-coated steel sheeting, which offers excellent weather resistance and durability. The 10-degree pitch facilitates efficient water runoff, while the integrated anti-condensation barrier helps prevent condensation buildup within the building. Skylights are incorporated into the roof design to allow natural light to penetrate the interior, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
Rainwater Management: To effectively manage rainwater, the building is equipped with guttering and downpipes made from galvanized steel. These components undergo hot-dipping in a Plastisol coating process, ensuring corrosion resistance and longevity. The guttering and downpipes collect rainwater and channel it away from the building, minimizing water-related issues and protecting the structure.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers: All necessary base, eaves, and ridge fillers are included with the building package. These fillers ensure proper sealing and insulation, preventing leaks, drafts, and other weather-related concerns. They contribute to maintaining a comfortable and well-protected interior environment.
Fixings: The building package includes all necessary fixings, including colored cap-less finishing screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets required for erecting the building. These fixings facilitate a secure and efficient construction process.
Framing: The building's framework is constructed using cold-rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, providing robust support and structural stability. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further enhancing the framework's structural integrity. All framework components are hot-dipped galvanized steel, complying with the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The sections are designed according to the guidelines outlined in BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, utilizing a combination of rational analysis and component testing to ensure structural reliability and compliance.
