Building Description:
We are delighted to present a single skin building that meets your specifications. This building offers a spacious and versatile interior, suitable for a variety of applications.
Dimensions:
The building measures 15m x 20m x 6.5m to the eaves, providing a generous amount of floor space. The 10-degree pitch roof ensures effective water drainage and ample headroom inside the structure.
Doors:
The building is equipped with three chain-operated heavy-duty Class 5 roller doors. Two of the roller doors measure 4000mm x 4000mm, and the third one measures 4000mm x 4600mm. These roller doors are designed for durability and ease of operation, allowing convenient access for large vehicles and equipment. Additionally, a secure personnel access door with a 12-point locking system is included, ensuring controlled entry and exit.
Wall Detail:
The walls of the building feature 24mm box profile wall cladding, providing strength and protection. The cladding consists of a single skin made from Plastisol coated steel sheeting, which enhances its resistance to weathering and external elements. This ensures the longevity and durability of the building.
Roof Detail:
The roof is constructed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, also utilizing a single skin design. The roof cladding consists of Plastisol coated steel sheeting, which offers excellent weather resistance and durability. The roof includes an anti-condensation barrier to prevent condensation buildup, maintaining a dry and comfortable interior. Skylights are incorporated into the roof design to allow natural light into the building, reducing the need for artificial lighting during daylight hours.
Rainwater Management:
The building is equipped with guttering and downpipes made from galvanized steel. These components are hot-dipped in a Plastisol coating, providing superior corrosion resistance. The guttering and downpipes effectively collect and channel rainwater away from the building, minimizing water-related issues and protecting the structure.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers:
The building package includes all necessary base, eaves, and ridge fillers. These fillers ensure proper sealing and insulation, preventing leaks, drafts, and other weather-related concerns. They contribute to a well-sealed and thermally efficient building.
Fixings:
All essential fixings, including screws (coloured cap-less finishing screws), bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets required for the assembly of the building, are provided. These fixings facilitate a smooth construction process and ensure secure connections between components.
Framing:
The building’s framework consists of cold-rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, providing robust support and stability. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further reinforcing the framework. All framing components are hot-dipped galvanized steel, adhering to the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The framework design complies with BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, utilizing a combination of rational analysis and component testing to ensure structural integrity and reliability.
