Building Description:
We are pleased to present you with a single skin building that meets your specifications. This building is designed to provide you with a functional and durable space for your needs.
Dimensions:
The building has dimensions of 8m x 15m x 3.6m to the eaves, offering a spacious interior area. The roof features a 10 degrees pitch, allowing efficient drainage of rainwater. Skylights are included in the roof design to provide natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
Doors:
The building is equipped with a chain-operated heavy-duty Class 5 roller door measuring 3000mm x 3000mm. This roller door offers a large opening for easy access and movement of vehicles and equipment. Additionally, a 12-point locking secure personnel access door is provided to ensure controlled entry and exit for authorized personnel.
Wall Detail:
The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, which provides strength and durability. The wall cladding features a single skin design and is made of Plastisol coated steel sheeting. This coating enhances the wall’s resistance to weathering and provides protection against external elements, ensuring the longevity of the building.
Roof Detail:
The roof is designed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, also with a single skin construction. The roof cladding is made of Plastisol coated steel sheeting, which offers excellent durability and weather resistance. An anti-condensation barrier is incorporated into the roof to prevent condensation buildup, maintaining a comfortable and dry interior environment.
Rainwater Management:
To efficiently manage rainwater, the building includes guttering and downpipes made of galvanized steel. These components are hot-dipped in a Plastisol coating, providing superior protection against corrosion. The guttering and downpipes effectively channel rainwater away from the building, preventing water-related issues.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers:
All necessary base, eaves, and ridge fillers are included in the building package. These fillers ensure proper sealing and insulation, minimizing the risk of leaks or drafts and providing a well-sealed structure.
Fixings:
The building package includes all the necessary screws, colored cap-less finishing screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets required for the construction process. These fixings are supplied to facilitate the smooth assembly of the building and ensure secure connections.
Framing:
The building’s framework is constructed from cold rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, offering strength and stability. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further reinforcing the framework. All framework components are hot-dipped galvanized steel, complying with the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The framework sections are designed according to BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, utilizing rational analysis and component testing to ensure structural integrity and reliability.
