Dimensions:
The building has dimensions of 3m x 9m x 4.1m to the eaves, offering a compact yet functional space for various applications. The roof is designed with a 10-degree pitch to ensure efficient water drainage. Skylights are incorporated into the roof design, allowing natural light to illuminate the interior.
Doors:
The building includes two chain-operated roller doors, each measuring 2500mm x 3500mm. These roller doors provide easy access for vehicles, equipment, or larger items. Additionally, the building features a secure personnel access door with a 12-point locking system, ensuring controlled entry and enhanced security.
Wall Detail:
The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, consisting of a single skin of Plastisol coated steel sheeting. This cladding offers durability and protection against external elements, ensuring a long-lasting and weather-resistant structure.
Roof Detail:
The roof is designed with 30mm box profile roof cladding, also featuring a single skin construction. The roof cladding is coated with Plastisol, providing resistance to corrosion and weathering. An anti-condensation barrier is integrated into the roof design to minimize condensation buildup, creating a comfortable and dry interior environment.
Rainwater Management:
Efficient rainwater management is ensured by the inclusion of guttering and downpipes made from galvanized steel. These components are hot dipped in Plastisol coating, offering durability and protection against corrosion.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers:
To ensure proper sealing and insulation, all necessary components for the base, eaves, and ridge fillers are included with the building package. This helps create a well-sealed and secure structure.
Fixings:
The building package includes all necessary screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets required for the construction process. These fixings are supplied to facilitate the smooth and efficient assembly of the building components.
Framing:
The building’s framework is constructed from cold-rolled Cee-section columns and rafters, providing structural strength and stability. Top-hat sections are used as purlins, further enhancing the structural integrity of the building. All framework components are made from hot-dipped galvanized steel, conforming to the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The sections are designed in compliance with BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, ensuring optimal performance and durability through a combination of rational analysis and component testing.
