Building Description:
Introducing a single skin building designed to meet your specifications. This building features two roller doors and one personnel access (PA) door, providing versatile access options and functionality.
Dimensions:
The building has a width of 8 meters, a length of 12 meters, and a height of 4 meters at the eaves. The roof is designed with a 10-degree pitch, ensuring effective water drainage and an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Doors:
Included in the building are two chain-operated roller doors, each measuring 3000mm x 3300mm. These roller doors offer convenient and secure access for vehicles or equipment. Additionally, a 12-point locking secure personnel access door is provided to ensure controlled entry and enhance security.
Wall Detail:
The walls of the building are constructed using 24mm box profile wall cladding, which offers strength and durability. The wall cladding is single skin and coated with Plastisol, a protective layer of plastisol-coated steel sheeting. This coating enhances resistance to external elements and contributes to the building’s longevity.
Roof Detail:
The roof features 30mm box profile roof cladding, also made of single skin material. The roof cladding is coated with Plastisol, providing durability and protection. Additionally, the roof is designed with an anti-condensation barrier to prevent condensation buildup and maintain a comfortable interior environment. Skylights are incorporated into the roof design, allowing natural light to illuminate the building’s interior.
Rain Water:
The building includes guttering and downpipes made of galvanized steel. These components are hot dipped in a Plastisol coating, ensuring efficient management of rainwater and enhancing their durability and resistance to corrosion.
Base, Eaves & Ridge Fillers:
All necessary components for the base, eaves, and ridge fillers are included in the building package. These elements ensure a comprehensive and well-sealed structure.
Fixings:
The building package includes all necessary fixings for assembly, including colored cap-less finishing screws, bolt sets, masonry anchors, screw caps, and brackets. These fixings facilitate a smooth and efficient construction process.
Framing:
The building’s framework is constructed from cold-rolled Cee-section columns and rafters. Top-hat sections are utilized as purlins, contributing to the structural integrity and stability of the building. The framework is made from hot-dipped galvanized steel, conforming to the standards specified in BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G-Z275. The sections are designed in accordance with BS EN 1993-1-3:2006, utilizing a combination of rational analysis and component testing to ensure optimal performance and durability.
